The materials that you'll need are: contrasting cards, paper cutter, creative scissors, tags, few embellishments and glue. Let's start our cute layout!
Get your cards stock. I recommend that you use those that come in packs. It is great because they readily have matching colors, and won't cause you too much trouble in choosing what would look good together.
Wait! Once You Have Your Journal Panel Materials are ready, Then You'll Need To Start Incorporating Them To Your Layout....Let Me Show You...
Over the top of the card, we are going to create an envelope effect. To do that, you have to keep the card exactly the same width as your initial one, but make it a fraction shorter in length.
Get another lighter color card and cut it to the same width as the first darker card. Add that same lovely curvy feature so that they match.
Glue the second curvy paper first, as it will leave you with a clear indication of where to trim. It will be the one to sit on the bottom as you can see below.
Now instead of using tape on the side to adhere the bottom part of the envelope design, I'm going to use a fine tip glue. This way it won't show any markings of the tape because mine is quite thick.
Then get your tags, make sure to trim them shorter so they don't stick out the bottom.
Look how cute that looks! I really love it!
You can decorate it with a few little embellishments that's nice and bright as seen below.
Look at how awesome my panel turned out!
